Paulo Santos - Saxophone & FX Zach Kursman - Drums & FX Wizards of Loneliness is an experimental fusion duo led by Paulo Santos (saxophone) and Zach Kursman (drums). Known for their genre-defying interplay and improvisational instinct, the two musicians blend jazz, electronic textures, and spontaneous composition into a sound that is both visceral and transportive. They debuted their project at Monks Jazz in March 2025 as part of the Monks' Jazz Showcases, and return with an ever-evolving set of original material. Regular fixtures in Austin’s creative music scene, Santos and Kursman have each made their mark as in-demand sidemen—and together, they conjure a sonic landscape all their own.
