Blake O’Neal - Guitar Israel Yanez - Drums Derek Thigpen - Bass Roberto Aponte - Saxophone Roberto Aponte is a saxophonist whose style of playing pays tribute to the greats while effortlessly incorporating the contemporary. Born in South Austin, he earned a bachloers degree in Music Performance- Jazz Studies under the tutelage of Dr. Russell Haight. Roberto takes pride in being a “genre chameleon” in Latin, Funk, Pop, and Jazz ensembles, and looks for ways to blend his musical canvas. Roberto has played in various Jazz clubs in Austin, such as The Elephant Room and Parker Jazz Club. He is also featured on Del Burro al Subway by Sofrito y Su Melao.
